While I was talking with the husband about the accident, he revealed to me where the wife was off to in such a hurry when Little Man was run over...she was on her way to the Albany Airport to welcome home Phillip Phillips!! Oh Phillip, if you only knew how much Leesburg loves you! Little Man might not care so much about your music, but you definitely have the support of this small town!
Well, I know it's not his fault, but we have an injury indirectly related to the homecoming of Phillip Phillips. Last night, about 8:45, I received a call from a client saying that his wife ran over her cat as she was backing out the driveway. I met the husband up at the clinic. The poor kitty, named Little Man, was in a lot of pain so we sedated him and gave him some good pain medication. I took an x-ray of him and found he had a fractured pelvis and neck of the femur. I saw no signs of internal bleeding and his vital signs were all good. Fortunatley, I think he is going to make it.
